Welcome to Riverdale Elementary School! Located just south of the town of St. Joe in Northeastern Indiana, Riverdale has been helping children reach their full potential as life-long learners since it was built in 1961. Our excellent staff continues to focus on improving student success in all areas with a major focus in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Riverdale has a clear vision and mission that has been developed by the entire community of students, staff, and parents. This will continue to help guide us in our daily, weekly, and yearly planning. Students, staff, and parents have high expectations not only about academic progress but there is an additional emphasis on looking at students' social, emotional, and physical growth. We strive to make Riverdale a friendly, caring, and supportive school where children feel challenged, safe, and cared for by both the school staff and the community.
